Protect Your Face

Protect Your Face

What does this really mean? Actually, it’s quite simple. When you respect your body, it respects you.  The better care you take of yourself, the better your body and skin look, feel and appear; not to mention less usage of makeup.

There are usually three factors to account for in skin care: the way your body is treated from the inside, the outside and your genetics.

From the Inside:  You must eat healthy, get enough sleep, and keep yourself hydrated.

From the Outside: Cleansing is a MUST, moisturizing is a MUST, and sunscreen is a MUST.

Genetics: Simply give your parents a kiss and say thank you.

Here are the Fitness4Moms steps to obtaining great, healthy skin:

 1.     Absolutely NO SMOKING!  Besides what smoking does to your lungs, it makes you smell, turn your nails and teeth yellow and causes your skin to age rapidly.

2.     DRINK YOUR H2O! Water is your skins best friend.  It keeps your skin hydrated, as well as give you a healthy glow.  6-8 glasses a day is a must.

3.     GET YOUR ZZZZZZZ!  A great night sleep is essential for great looking skin.  Under eye circles and deep bags are just the beginning.

4.     Apply your moisturizer and/or sunscreen, especially when spending long hours in the sun, for the obvious: cancer, sunburn, sun spots, wrinkles to name a few.

5.    Take it all off!  Leaving your makeup on throughout the night causes pores to clog, assisting in the development of pimples and blackheads.
